The Walmart store on Mumford Road in Halifax will not open for several weeks. The store was closed on October 19th when a 19-year-old employee was found deceased in the walk-in oven in the store’s bakery department. The store had been undergoing renovations before the death and will remain closed while it is being done. Halifax Regional Police said last week the woman’s death was not suspicious and there was no evidence of foul play.
