A public meeting is being held to apply pressure to the province to repair the Artries Pond causeway on Highway 331 to avoid disruption of first responder services. The United Communities Fire Department is holding the meeting in conjunction with the MODL Mayor and local councillors and concerned community groups. The purpose is to raise awareness and have the community apply pressure to provincial officials to repair the deteriorating causeway at Arties Pond. The meeting is being held on Wednesday, October 29th, at 7:00 p.m. at the Fire Hall in Cherry Hill.
