Lunenburg County District RCMP is investigating the sudden deaths of two seniors. On Friday, just after 1:00 p.m., police were called to a trail in Lake Pleasant. Officers found an 84-year-old woman deceased. Shortly after, the remains of an 85-year-old man were found nearby. Police don’t believe the deaths are suspicious. The investigation continues with the assistance of the Annapolis District RCMP, RCMP Digital Forensic Services, and the Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service.
