Inflation Up

We’re probably telling you something you realize every time you go grocery shopping, but inflation was up last month. It rose to 2.4 per cent, up from 1.9 per cent in August. According to Statistics Canada, grocery prices rose by four per cent compared to last year, with the prices of coffee, beef, and fresh vegetables leading the way in pricier food. The price of gas was down but was still two per cent higher than the same time last year.
