The emergency department at Fishermen’s Memorial Hospital in Lunenburg will have reduced hours. Starting this Friday, the ER will close at 1 p.m. on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and reopen at 7:30 a.m. the next day. However, if you have a medical emergency, please call 911. Nova Scotia Health also offers Virtual Urgent Care during specific hours on weekdays and weekends. For general health advice, you can call 811 to speak to a registered nurse anytime.
